Speak to Me

With my restless heart, I walk through each day
Teach me always to find moments to pray
Show me your all with open eyes to see
Reach and cleanse my heart and speak to me

As I stand in awe of your grace, I'm amazed
By Your creations, Your power, I have gazed
You are in the clouds, winds and the sea
Come fullness of faith and speak to me

As the pages of my soul keep turning
Help me hear your inner voice; I'm yearning
When stormy trials prevail, and come to be
Whisper your written promises; speak to me

As my strength is sometimes rice paper thin
Still sensing your call to others, I reach out to a friend
Though I am weak please bring me to my knees
Only there am I fortified, speak to me

As night falls again, I am down to sleep
May I hear your voice say my soul you will keep
Each new sunrise let your unfolded love set me free
Sweet Jesus, captain of my soul, speak to me.
